Primitive Vintage Pillow Ornies

Product Information

First I made a pillow from vintage fabric, added a hand made and painted rose and leaves. The rose and leaves were grunged and baked for that vintage look.

The three small 3 inch ornies/pillow are stuffed with the herbs from our garden. I made a small pillow from blue fabric with lavender and rose flowers. I edged it with vintage lace I was lucky enough to get at a farm household sale Retiring and moving to town).
I then painted two small leaves and made a lace rose to put on it. This ornies is filled lavender. The second ornie/pillow is made from vintage style green fabric with a crocheted lace rose with three small bells for the center. I filled it with dried mint. The third ornie/pillow I made with a vintage yellow fabric with rustic lace sewn around it and then I put a simple button in the center. I filled this one with chamomile flowers.
I grunged all of these small ornies. If you pick them and and gently crush them, the wonderful scents of the garden are there for all to enjoy. And then just for fun, I added a small bouquet of sweet annie- always smells good.
