When summer is nearing its end and the harvest from the garden is either being frozen or canned, it's a rewarding time on the farm. To celebrate the harvest, I made some vegetables from the garden as ornies. These beans are a great item to put on your harvest, kitchen, dining room tables or anywhere you would like to enjoy the bounty of a good crop. They measure approx 6 inches long, without their leaves. I made them out of muslin, painted the beans and their leaves. Then I lovingly aged them with a mixture of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon. They look great alone, or add them to the growing number of "produce items" in our store. There are three pods to a bean, and three beans to a set.
