Primitive Folk Art Beet Ornies Bowl Fillers, set of 3

Product Information

An olde fashioned way to add to your ornies collection. I remember grandma's pickled beets vividly. Well these are reminders of that root crop that would look great alone or with other vegetable ornies for your autumn decor or your harvest table or just year round. They are made out of muslin, painted beet red, with green leaves and a stem. I just couldn't resist adding baling twine, yes --real farm baling twine-- as the root system. Then I sanded them, and aged them with a mixture of coffee and vanilla and cinnamon. The cinnamon was perfect because it looks like little bit like bits of earth sticking to the roots. The cinnamon also makes them look like they have just been dug out of the ground. Without the stem, leaves and roots, they are 4 inches tall. Please take a look at the other veggie ornies I have in the store. Pick and choose for your own harvest delights.
