Primitive Folk Art "Fresh Picked" Corn Ear Ornies

Product Information

It's been a good year for corn around here and we've been eating some of the best ever. These corn ornies are a great addition to your home year round but especially now through the end of autumn. They are approximately 10 inches long. The ears are made out of vintage style cotton and have been aged with coffee, vanilla and cinnamon and then baked. Because these ears have not been shucked, they still have their husks attached. Each husk has been hand painted, distressed and aged. Spanish moss has been added to resemble the corn silk. Then I tied the husks tight with real BALING TWINE--yes, this is a real farm. Each ear of corn has a hand tag. The labels vary and include, Farm Fresh, 5 cents and ear, picked daily, etc. Thanks for looking and please take a look at our other veggie ornies, so if you wish you can combine them for your own harvest gathering.
