Primitive Folk Art 1870 Star Ornies - set of three

Product Information

More star ornies for the coming season. These ornies/bowl fillers have been made from a red, green and white homespun, (a different paid than the others listed).Each ornie was aged with a mixture of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon--then carefully baked. Then I added sprigs of artificial evergreen, red and white pip berries all tied together with a bit of green and white homespun. A tag was added that has the year "1870" which is the date the family homestead was established in the Midwest.

Each ornie has a loop of old rick-rack attached so that you can display them hanging on a tree or tuck them in a bowl to be enjoyed on a table or such.

These ornies are approx 6.5 inches from tip to tip.
